pageMash v1.1.0
After about a month without any updates to pageMash I’ve got round to adding a few new features:
- I’ve added quick in-line page renaming using Justin Maier’s inlineEdit2 Mootools class.
- and changed the display of the links to show when you hover over the ยป icon.

- I’ve also added the function to deregistered prototype and any scripts that rely on this from the pageMash admin since this is incompatible with mootools and should temporarily disable any other plugins you have that would otherwise cause javascript errors.
- For anyone who likes to know whats going on under-the-hood, I’ve split up the main pageMash file, which was getting a bit long, into separate CSS and JS files. I also added the cache_javascript_headers() function to save some processing.
The example page has been updated to WordPress 2.5 and this new version of pageMash.
If you have any problems or got any ideas for future releases, write me a nice letter (or drop me an email if you prefer).

hi! this is a great great plugin, super work.
in one of wordpress (2.5.1) instalattions i have (not in my website), pageMash (1.1.0) doesn’t work at all. after the activation i go to the pageMash page but the page is not ok, the ajax doens’t appear, only the full texts with links without any action on it. but i also have another installation in another server (with wp 2.5 and pagemash 1.1.0) that works very well… what could be the problem..?
thanks!

Hey Nelson, thanks for the feedback.
Try checking the page source on the pageMash admin, make sure the javascript includes are linking to the actual files and not some 404 page.
I don’t know why they wouldn’t be, but thats the most obvious thing to check. Tell me how you get on.
cheers, Joel.

thanks for the fast reply. i think the javascript links are ok… i can send you by email (what email?) the code lines of the page source (pageMash admin) and a print screen of the actual look to see if this issue is new to you.
best,
nelson

hmm.. I don’t really know what’s going wrong, why it would work on one server but not another.
I think its something todo with linking back into the WP core with require_once(’./../../../wp-config.php’); although I’m not sure what the problem here is.
What browser are you using? If you’re on firefox there’s a great extension called firebug that would give some more information on what’s going wrong.
I’ll keep pondering on it.. Joel.

joel, i sended you an email with the firebug results after clicking in Update.

This is a great great plugin. I need something like this for categories and subcategories - drag and drop, ordering, making sub. I found a lot of plugins to order categories, but none that allows to create a sub-category by drag and drop. Do you know any?
Thanks, and congratulations for this good piece of nice work.

Cheers, no I’m afraid I don’t know of any.
Good luck with your search..

Hi Joel
I’m running pageMash 1.1.2, if pM is Activated the pages display as though without and vice versa, turn it off and the pages display properly (as edited in pagemash when activated).
cheers, Grant
